If you are an out-of-state caregiver feeling helpless with the added challenge of not being able to physically assist your loved one in finding a senior community, we can help. 1Care is able to provide transportation to and from tours. Through phone conversations, personalized emails, and conference calls, our care team will empower out of state caregivers in making a secure choice for their loved ones.

Having worked with hundreds of families over the past 7 years, our team has the knowledge and expertise to streamline this search and reduce your stress. Personalized tours





1Care is committed to supporting you through the entire process of transitioning your loved one. This includes coordinating and accompanying your family on the first round of tours, at up to four communities. Although our limit is four, we can coordinate as many tours on your behalf as you would like.

INDEPENDENT LIVING



Independent Living Communities, also known as retirement communities, are apartment-style housing for seniors who need limited assistance and want maintenance-free living. These communities offer a broad range of amenities, social activities, and enrichment experiences to promote an active, healthy lifestyle. Services can differ between independent living communities. Many have a shared dining room where residents gather for meals and socialization.



ASSISTED LIVING



Assisted Living is a long-term care solution for your loved one that can be considered independent living with personal care services. Personalized care includes assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, showering and toileting. Assisted Living communities offer both apartment-style rooms depending on your loved one's needs.



MEMORY CARE



Memory Care is a special kind of care for your loved one with middle to late stage Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia. These communities are often an appropriate step to providing additional care for your family member who is already in an assisted living environment. Memory Care Communities offer physical layouts, specialized services and dedicated programs to minimize wandering and delay dementia progression.
